Why we choose aluminium as raw material for electric battery shell? The aluminium has several aligned properties comparing to steel, plastic and Ti metal,stc. At the very beginning of eletric vehicle battery production, stainless steel was chosen as battery shell because of the high strength and good property of tolerance with checmical reaction. But as long as the market increased the requriement on vehicle weight and energy saving concept became more important in auto industries, the aluminium slug is chosen to produce battery shell. These of outstanding properties of ligth weight, good resistance to chemical corrossion, relative high strength, high production efficiency appears on aluminium material and extrusion parts at same time.
