Function
- Preventing damage from debris: Stones, rocks, and other hard debris are common in grassy areas. The inner stone guard acts as a barrier to prevent these objects from being thrown up by the rotating blades and hitting the mower's internal components. For example, if a stone were to get caught in the blade's path and not blocked by the stone guard, it could potentially damage the blades, belts, pulleys, or other parts of the mower's cutting and power transmission systems.
- Protecting the operator: It also provides an additional layer of safety for the operator. By containing debris and preventing it from being ejected in the direction of the operator's position, it reduces the risk of injury from flying objects.
- Maintaining mower performance: The inner stone guard helps to keep the cutting area clean and free from foreign objects that could disrupt the smooth operation of the blades. If debris were to accumulate around the blades or get tangled in the cutting mechanism, it could lead to uneven cutting, reduced cutting efficiency, and increased wear and tear on the mower. The stone guard helps to prevent such situations, ensuring that the mower can maintain a consistent cutting height and quality.

Tooth Idler gear
Material: C45/40Cr/20CrMnTi or customization
Function
1. Changing the Rotation Direction: The main function of the idler gear is to change the rotation direction of the driven gear, making it the same as the driving gear. In a straw mower, this helps to ensure that the cutting components rotate in the correct direction for efficient cutting
2. Increasing the Transmission Distance: It can be used to connect shafts that are spaced relatively far apart, allowing for more flexible placement of components within the mower's mechanical system. This is beneficial for optimizing the layout of the mower's internal structure and accommodating different design requirements
3. Adjusting the Pressure Angle: By adjusting the position or number of idler gears, it is possible to modify the pressure angle in the gear train. This can help to improve the meshing conditions between gears, reduce wear and tear, and increase the overall efficiency and durability of the transmission system
4. Smoothing Speed Fluctuations: The idler gear can absorb some of the speed fluctuations generated by the engine or other power sources. This helps to provide a more stable output speed to the cutting mechanism, resulting in more consistent cutting performance and reducing vibrations and noise in the mower
5. Reducing Friction: As the idler gear rotates, its rolling contact with other gears can reduce the overall friction in the transmission system compared to direct contact between the driving and driven gears. This leads to less energy loss, improved transmission efficiency, and reduced wear on the gears and other components
6. Protecting Other Components: In some cases, the idler gear can act as a buffer or shock absorber, protecting other more critical or expensive components in the transmission system from sudden or excessive loads. It can help to distribute the load more evenly and prevent damage to gears, shafts, or bearings due to momentary overloads

Farm Drum Mower machinery parts
Small pulley, driver, drum hub, bearing house and other steel forge/casting drum mower parts
Material: cast steel
Process: steel cast into shape - precise machining(turning, milling and drilling) to precise dimension and smooth surface - surface treatment. We implenment high standard of on-line quality inspection to these drum mower parts production process to ensure they have the required strength, precision, and durability to perform their functions effectively in the mowing operation
Shaft parts: Cross-shaped coupling, Connecting Rod or Push Rod, Clamping Bracket, Drive Shaft, etc.
Production Process
1. Material: The shaft is made from steel, which is chosen for its high strength and durability. High-strength alloy steel is typically used to ensure the shaft can withstand the mechanical stresses of mowing operations.
2. Cutting and Shaping: The steel is first cut to the appropriate length using cutting tools such as saws or laser cutters. Then it is shaped using techniques like turning on a lathe to achieve the desired cylindrical form.
3. Machining: Precision machining is performed to create any necessary features such as holes, slots, or keyways. These features are crucial for attaching other components like gears, pulleys, or blades.
4. Surface Treatment: To enhance its resistance to wear, corrosion, and fatigue, the shaft may undergo surface treatments. This can include processes like hardening, tempering, or coating with protective materials such as chrome or zinc.
5. Assembly: Once the shaft is fully processed, it is assembled into the mower, often involving the attachment of bearings, gears, and other components that rely on the shaft for support and rotation.
